ME focuses on economic empowerment by integrating young women into private-sector supply chains. In partnership with market leaders such as ACI, SMC, and City Group, PBL facilitates a sustainable, “win-win” business ecosystem.

  • The Model: Partner NGOs (PNGOs) select local women entrepreneurs to manage specific geographic areas. PBL secures high-quality flagship goods under corporate arrangements and supplies them through the PNGOs.
  • Zero-Capital Entrepreneurship: Marginalized women are trained to become home-based mobile traders. With almost zero overhead and no personal capital investment required, these entrepreneurs sell essential products directly to their neighbors.

 

  • Portfolio: The “business basket” includes sanitary napkins, antiseptic soap, fortified salt, hand wash, and household hygiene products.
  • Impact: The majority of profits are retained by the women entrepreneurs, securing a dignified livelihood and ensuring a sustainable supply of health products in rural areas.
