Financial Governance: Accounting and Auditing
PBL maintains a rigorous and transparent financial management system. Our accounts are meticulously managed by the Head of Finance and Accounts, with oversight provided through regular reviews by the Executive Committee (EC). All financial statements are formally presented and approved during our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
To ensure independent verification and international standards of transparency, our income, expenditures, receipts, and payments are audited annually by Mahfel Huq & Co., a leading registered Chartered Accountancy firm in Bangladesh.
Compliance and Statutory Filings
PBL is committed to full regulatory compliance. Following the completion of our annual audit, we ensure timely submissions of:
- Tax Returns: Filed annually with the respective National Board of Revenue (NBR) Tax Zone.
- Statutory Returns: Submitted yearly to the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC) to maintain our legal standing and good governance status.
